1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Carlos Auto Tech. By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry or appointment form, or booking on-site automotive repair services with our mobile mechanic unit, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and Service Agreement. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Mobile Automotive Services

Carlos Auto Tech operates as a specialized mobile automotive repair and diagnostic provider serving Austin, Texas, and designated surrounding service areas. Our services include on-site computer scanning, scheduled maintenance, battery/charging repair, brake servicing, suspension/steering fixes, and heating/cooling maintenance.

Services are performed at customer-specified locations, including residential driveways, office parking lots, or accessible safe roadside areas, subject to safety, site accessibility, and local municipal ordinances.

3. Service Site Requirements & Safety

To perform mobile repairs safely and thoroughly:

• The customer must provide a safe, reasonably level, and legal work area (such as a private driveway or authorized parking bay).
• Vehicle keys and access must be provided at the scheduled arrival window.
• Pets and children must remain away from the work perimeter while equipment, jacks, or tools are in operation.
• We reserve the right to decline or reschedule service if the location is deemed unsafe, illegal (e.g., active highway shoulders without barrier protection), or unsuitable for vehicle elevation.

4. Estimates, Authorization & Payment

Diagnostic consultations or initial quotes provided by phone or online are provisional estimates based on customer-provided symptoms. Upon on-site physical inspection and computerized scan, a confirmed estimate covering necessary parts and labor will be presented for your explicit authorization before non-routine repair begins.

Payment is due upon completion of services rendered. We accept standard electronic payments, major credit/debit cards, and approved cash transactions. Invoices detailing replaced components and labor warranty will be provided.

5. Customer-Supplied Parts

While we supply premium OEM and certified aftermarket components with standard manufacturer warranties, customers may request the installation of customer-supplied parts. In such cases, Carlos Auto Tech warrants our professional workmanship but cannot provide a warranty for third-party defect, fitment, or premature failure of customer-supplied parts.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that unexpected schedules happen. Please notify us as early as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment by calling (512) 412-5545. We will gladly accommodate a convenient alternative time window.

7. Limitation of Liability

Carlos Auto Tech performs all automotive services using professional trade standards and industry diagnostic procedures. We are not liable for pre-existing underlying mechanical damage, hidden vehicular rust or structural degradation, or consequences of deferred vehicle maintenance beyond the specific repairs authorized and performed.
